Luna Lovegood believes in Harry

When she saw Harry, her promient eyes seemed to bulge excitedly and she made a beeline straight for him. Many of his classmates turned curiously to watch. Luna took a great breath and then said, without so much as a preliminary hello: "I believe He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is back, and I believe you fought him and escaped from him."
"Er--right," said Harry awkwardly.

Just something I sketched up for my countdown Harry Potter art.

I hope you like it :)

I'm alive and some artwork

I guess you all thought was dead huh?

NOPE!!! I'm dead yet!! I'm still alive, I've just been too busy to post anything lately is all :P

And I just wanted to tell you that I sadly didn't go to Fanime this year :( I was really looking forward to it because all my cosplay friends were there as well as my facebook friends. But I had finals to worry about and my cosplay group had finals as well. Also, we never made any costumes D: Oh well, maybe next year when I'm not as busy because when I transfer to Asbury University I will be out of school at the beginning of May, thus it will give me time to sew costumes and do last minute stuff for cosplay :D
I just really hope that next year will be THE year I'll go to Fanime for once because I have big plans as to what I'll cosplay next year :)

But in the meantime, I thought I might just show off my artwork just for fun and to make up for the time that I have not been here. So it's basically Harry Potter art that I've been working since the final movie has come out and all (which by the way is FANTASTIC), so if don't like Harry Potter then keep your rude comments to yourself. I'm only posting my artwork for myself because I feel like I want to show my talent to you guys. It's the only best talent (besides music and swimming) that I have.

I hope you like it :)

"Harry gripped the edges of the stool and thought, Not Slytherin, not Slytherin
"Not Slytherin, eh?" said the small voice. "Are you sure? You could be great you know, it's all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that---no? Well, if you're sure---better be GRYFFINDOR!"

"Famous Harry Potter," said Malfoy. "Can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page.""Leave him alone, he didn't want all that!" said Ginny. It was the first time she had spoken in front of Harry. She was glaring at Malfoy.
"Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" Malfoy drawled. Ginny went scarlet as Ron and Hermione fought their way over, both clutching stacks of Lockhart's books.

"Here--"
She had the chain around his neck too.
"Ready?" she said breathlessy.
"What are we doing?" Harry said completely lost.
Hermione turned the hourglass over three times.
The dark ward dissolved.

"They had left the Hogwarts grounds completely; they had obviously traveled miles--perhaps hundreds of miles--for even the mountains surrounding the castle were gone. They were standing instead in a dark and overgrown graveyard...."

Peace out :D

Ugh....finals T_T The horror

Finals are next week and I'm not looking forward to it. I do have faith that I'll pass this semester, but I'm just saying that it sucks beyond all reason that I have to cram everything that I have learned this semester in my head in just a few short days D:
And on top of that, I'm gonna be in a Traveling Nativity at my church and cosplay Mary (Well, I'm actually playing Mary but you know what I mean) this weekend. Which means it'll take away my study time. Ahhhh the horror!!!!

But I might actually enjoy it because it's somewhat like cosplay and I get to pretend to pregant (that's how you spell it right) :D lol And my Joesph is this good looking Dutch boy named Gary who's several years older than me. I could tell that he was Dutch because of his adorable accent when he talked. And basically he told me that he came from Holland. lol So at least there is something to look forward to in this Christmas Nativity :D

Anyway, back to finals. Yes, the dreadful horror of college is haunting with tests oh dear O.o But I won't give up because I'm gonna study and study until my poor-brain-that-is-full-of-drawing-ideas HURTS like heck D: And man, I have to create a face portrait of Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's for Art that is due on Monday TT_TT And I've barely started O.O I think I should stop blogging and get started on it now while I still have the chance because tomorrow I have English class, then Math tutoring, and then I'm going to my friend Sal's birthday party at Sizzler.
Sheesh I'm booked D:

Talk to you all later because it's study time for me. Wish me luck on passing or at least pray for me because I really want to pass this semester.

Bye-bye :)

Hey now, that was mean :(

So yesterday, I was watching this youtube video called "If Cartoons Were Real" by Smosh : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APV5LnQvqFw&feature=channel and it was basically a parody about the "what-if" cartoons were real. It was really funny and they did a really good job with their costumes that I commented saying that I loved Pokemon (they did a parody of it) and their "cosplays".
Then the next day, I get a comment from some random youtuber saying, "I love Pokemon too, but they aren't cosplayers you dumb weeaboo...Cosplayers are fat people with no lives. Ever heard of acting? No?"

Okay....that was really really harsh!!! And really offensive to me. I mean, this person clearly doesn't know that not ALL cosplayers are "fat people with no lives". In fact, there are actually some well healthy cosplayers who aren't fat at all and they actually have lives like: going to the movies, going to school, going to work, going to church, doing numorous activies, watching anime, reading manga, etc.

If you don't call that a life, then there is something wrong with you. lol

Anyway, he just doesn't understand that not all cosplayers are like that. Also, I've never heard of the word "dumb weeaboo" before. What kind of offensive name is that?! It almost sounds like a Star Wars language or something like that. But I don't like it when people call me names because it just makes me mad or upset and it just makes me think that I'm unworthy or useless or defenseless.
I know that I'm not dumb or a "weeaboo", but seriously, that is the most offensive comment I've ever gotten on youtube. I don't like being treated like that and it just makes me say mean things back, but luckily I don't do stuff like that because I know it just leaves to revenge and a comment battle on youtube.

Believe me, I've been there.

But still, he's just a big fat meanie who wants to make people's lives horrible. And he doesn't seem to appreciate people in costumes at all, yet he surprisingly likes cute animations that look very Japanese anime-ish (I skimmed through his favorites on his channel). I don't know what his problem is, but he's the one who needs to get a life and stop ratting mean comments on youtube that could hurt people.

That's all I have to say. I think I'm gonna watch Sgt. Frog or Naruto to clear my mind from this meanie >.<

Talk to you all later. I hope no one comments or says anything mean to you today :)

School and a little cosplay...

Sorry for not posting as much as I used too, but school started last Wednesday and I haven't been able to post anything. Also, I've become extremely lazy on this and my other sites. Idk. Maybe I'm just not into "that" mood as I was several months ago.

Anywhoo, school has started and I'm pretty thrilled with my classes because they're all easy (except math...booo) and each one has an entertaining teacher. I love teachers who are fun and speak loud and clear. Mostly because I'm hearing impaired and I like having teachers who speak loudly enough for me. And I like it when they're fun because it usually keeps me awake and entertained :)
And aside from classes, I'm getting to see my college friends again ^__^ Last Friday, we all went to see "Vampire Sucks" (which truly does) as a back-to-school celebration. idk, we can be weird sometimes. lol :D And besides, we wanted to make fun of a movie that we all knew that would be bad (which it was so please don't see it...it's not worth it) and just have fun before the weekend.

And as for cosplay, I plan on starting on my Sakura costume this weekend, (since I have nothing else better to do) because I feel like that if I don't start now, I might regret it later. I'm not sure if I'll go to any of the fall conventions, but it does help to sew a costume ahead of time just in case, cause you never know :)
But I'll probably wear Sakura at Fanime next year.

Who knows.

Anyway, I have other cosplays in mind that I'll probably sew for Fanime or other cons:

Sakura (Naruto Shippuden)
Rukia (Bleach)
Riza (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Haruhi (Ouran High School Host Club)
Haine (The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross)
Kairi (Kingdom Hearts 2)
Paine (Final Fantasy X-2)
Princess Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
Princess Zelda (The Legend of Zelda)

The list might shorten before Fanime because it's too many to make and might be pricy for fabrics and wigs. But I'll still make all of the costumes as you can see on the list :)

But I'm most likely going to cosplay Zelda because everyone keeps telling me that I look like her!!!! I'm so touched *__* If I can pull off being Zelda very well, then she will be my main character of cosplays. You know, that I'll take many pictures of myself as Zelda and post them everywhere on the interent and claim to say that I am Zelda. lol :)

Well mostly facebook, youtube, deviantart, and this blog. lol I might get a cosplay.com too, but I'm going to wait until after Fanime next year to get one because at this moment, Tohru is the only cosplay that I've done so far :/

Oh well, there is more to come in the future and I hope that I'll have enough money for the stuff that I need and want for my cosplays.

Ok, time for beddy byes. I'm tired from doing my homework and trying out this SAI paint program for artists like me. It's totally FUN ^_______^ Good night everybody.

P.S.
Next month I'll be changing my background picture again. Just so you know....

Back from camping!!!

I've been gone for about a week and I feel...happy. I'm happy that me and my family got to spend an entire week together at RCP (Redwood Christian Park). RCP is a camp for families that come every year to relax, have fun, and worship God. Yup, it's my kind of camp.

So this years theme was Route 66 and I was dissappointed that my mom and I didn't have to time to make me and my sister poddle skirts for the Sock Hop that they had on Tuesday night let alone the theme. So all I could do that night was stare at the other kids who wore their poddle skirts and admire them. I was hoping to cosplay as Haruhi in a poddle skirt when I found out the theme, but no! I only wore a the Route 66 white T-shirt.

But I still had fun because my friend Andy taught me some swing dancing XD

I also got to see my really good camp friends again. They're all really nice and they're all fans of anime and other nerdy things which is why I'm friends with them. One of my friends brought ALL of his Pokemon cards and all of us played the game for a little bit in his cabin. Good times they were.

And took a plenty of good pictures while I was there and a few vids (but not many as much as I thought I would). And on Wednesday while everybody else at camp was at Sea Cliff beach, me and my family went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and rode on a few rides with my sibilings. Mostly because we've never been to the boardwalk as a family and my parents thought it would be fun if we just ditched going to the beach and just go to the boardwalk instead. Good times. My mom also bought me a musical carousal (it's something that I always wanted ever since I was a little kid) while we were there.

And finally, I got more into reading the Bible that week. Lately, I haven't been reading the bible as much as I used to because the internet is so distracting and I've been feeling awfully distant from God. So I was glad that I went to camp because I needed a boast to get me back to God. I keep forgetting how wonderful he truely is and why I always have this burn of fire for him.

Anyway, that was my camping trip. Also, we had S'mores and they're always delicious by the campfire X3 I'll post pictures soon, so you'll get to them. So I'll talk to you all later :)

P.S. Like the new picture? I wanted to put up a Fruits Basket because I just recently cosplayed Tohru and I just felt like Fruits Basket is the theme of the month. So once a month, I'll probably post up a new picture depending on my mood or what I'm cosplaying as. And I'll usually post up boyxgirl couples pictures because it's cute and romantic. Something that I DON'T have yet, but hopefully someday I will. I just have to keep on praying for the right man.

Ok...bye now :3

Meh...but happy.

Sorry for the long wait. I've been too lazy to post a blog and I wasn't sure what to write about the Ani-Vent besides "It was the best first con I've ever been too!" But...meh, here are some pictures:

Though, I still had an awesome time. My friend Kat (who was Kagura), my little sister (who was Momiji), and I went as the Fruits Basket characters. Unfortunatly, not everyone in my group showed up due to either costing too much or couldn't make the costume in time or was busy on the same day >.< I was not too thrilled with that because I really wanted my group to experience their first con in the valley.
I mean, they all sounded like that they wanted to go and they all were more than willing to get the fabric for their costumes, but when the big day got nearer, they just seemed to forget or somehow magicially got other things planned!!! Well, I'm not extremely mad at my group, but I knew we should've bought our fabric sooner!!!

Oh well, at least me and Kat found a Kyo (who was actually a girl unfortunatly) at the con and we asked to take a picture with her (as you can see up above). And I got a few trinkets or keepsakes from the con. I was especially surprised that they actually had an Ouran High School Host Club cellphone charm (but it's a little too big hahaha), I thought I never would find one of those. And I was so close to having a Sasuke plushie, but my mom told me that we didn't have much money so I sadly put my would've been Sasuke plushie back on the shelf. I knew I should've brought extra money because they had so many awesome things like posters, action figures, plushies, DVD's, necklaces, cellphone charms, t-shirts, and so on!

Man, cons have so many great things. I guess I have to prepare myself for the Fanime one huh? Because I know that they have more booths and they sell more stuff then you can ever imagine. So I'll probably have to bring more than $100 dollars as far as I know.

Anyway, I got to try pocky sticks for the very first time and apparently, they like to stick together when it's hot :D I had a hard time trying to break them apart so I could eat them one at a time, but I ended up eating them all at once O.o But other than that, they were so good xD I also got to try this strange tangy drink that stung my tongue (I don't like drinks that sting my tongue, it's too weird).
Well, that's all I have to say about the con, not much happened and I was dissippointed that not everyone in my group showed up (it would've been more fun with all them).

That's all I have to say because my brother wants to watch a movie right now while I'm still packing for our camping trip. Yeah, I'll explain more in the next blog. Signing out for a whole week.
